Your Place ID is stable and identifies your business to Google. Find it via Maps embed HTML, the Places API, or Google’s Business Profile resources. Input is processed locally in this tab—we do not store it.
Google Review QR Code Generator
Link customers straight from print or signage to Google’s write-a-review experience. Paste your Google Place ID (or a Maps URL that contains it)—we build the official review URL and an on-screen QR you can screenshot or pair with our high-resolution generator.
Grow reviews with a scannable call-to-action
Paper receipts, table tents, appointment cards, and window clings work best when the next step is effortless. A QR code removes typing and searching—especially on mobile—so satisfied customers are more likely to leave a star rating while the experience is fresh.
This page builds the standard Google review URL from your Place ID. Use the QR below for quick tests; for branded colors, logos, or print-ready PNG/SVG, copy the link into our main QR Code Generator.
Why businesses use review QR codes
Less friction than “search our name”
Searching in Maps invites competitors in the results list. A direct link focuses attention on your listing.
Capture feedback at peak satisfaction
Ask after service completion, checkout, or delivery—moments when five-star intent is highest.
Works across touchpoints
Print on packaging inserts, salon mirrors, hotel desks, or trade-show badges with the same Place ID.
Where to display your review QR
- Counter cards and point-of-sale signage (eye level, good lighting)
- Post-purchase email is digital—but print QR on packing slips and warranty cards
- Service businesses: mirror stickers, room tents, or “before you leave” cards
- Avoid placing codes where glare, curvature, or tiny size hurts scanning—test with multiple phones
How to find your Google Place ID
- Open your business listing in Google Maps on the desktop web.
- Click Share → Embed a map (or inspect the link); the iframe or URL often includes placeid=ChIJ…
- Alternatively use Google’s documentation for Place ID lookup or tools tied to Business Profile.
- Paste the Place ID or full URL into the field above; we extract ChIJ… automatically when present.
Frequently asked questions
Is this affiliated with Google?
No. QR Crafter is independent. We only construct URLs using Google’s public review URL pattern. Trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Will every customer see the review form?
Google may prompt sign-in, show different layouts on iOS vs Android, or surface other UI. Always test on a few real devices signed in as a typical customer would be.
Can I use a short link instead?
Yes. You can pass the generated review URL through a URL shortener, then create a QR for the short link—useful for SMS or character-limited media.
What if I have multiple locations?
Each location has its own Place ID. Generate one QR per location or per printed material so reviews attach to the correct listing.
How do I get a higher-resolution QR for print?
Copy the review URL and open our QR Code Generator to export PNG or SVG with your brand colors and error correction level.
