How this differs from a normal scanner
Many scanners jump straight into the browser. Here you only see the decoded string and, for http(s) links, a parsed host and path—so you can decide whether to continue on a device you trust.
Limits
We only decode what is encoded in the QR. We cannot know if a https site is malicious, and shortened URLs hide the final destination until they redirect. When in doubt, do not open the link.
